Cobh Connect has commenced a host of upgrades to the Cobh to Cork city bus route to facilitate engers.
Upgrades to the service include increased frequency, new early morning services, tap-and-pay, youth discounts, and real-time tracking.

Upgrades include 18 additional services daily, a new early morning weekday service starting at 5.45am from Cobh to Cork, a new early morning weekend service starting at 7.45am from both Cobh and Cork, half hourly services Monday to Saturday and additional Nitelink service running every Thursday night.
A new stop at Marina Villas in Carrigaloe has also been added to the 200 route.
Cobh Connect company director, Wayne Morrison, said the 200 route has connected the people of Cobh to the city since its launch and that the positive from engers inspired the company to do more.
“Due to the demand from our regular engers, we have increased the frequency of this route and made it easier for people to travel and plan their journey with the introduction of tap-and-pay, and our real-time tracking app.”
Recognising the pressures that back to school and college can be for families, the company is also offering a 50% discount for young adult and student Leap Card holders.
