Snow Patrol and Amble announce Cork gigs in summer 2025

Northern Irish Rock band Snow Patrol and acclaimed Irish folk trio Amble are both set to play Cork next summer, with tickets on sale for both gigs this Friday. 

Snow Patrol will play Musgrave Park on June 19, as part of their UK and Ireland tour which also includes Dublin and Belfast gigs and comes as the band releases their eighth studio album, The Forest is the Path.

Tickets for the Cork show are priced at €69.90 inclusive of booking fee and go on sale at 10am this Friday, November 8.

After a phenomenal year of sold-out shows across the UK, Ireland and North America, including one at the Cork Opera House last weekend, Amble will return next year with an extensive world tour which will include a Cork date.

The band, who opened for The Waterboys and Crowded House at Musgrave park in June, have announced that they will play Live at the Marquee on 17 July 2025.

Tickets will be going on sale this Friday 8 November at 10am from Ticketmaster.ie, and fans are advised that they may sell quickly.

Amble is made up of Robbie Cunningham, Oisin McCaffrey, and Ross Mc Nerney, a three-piece folk group with a critically acclaimed discography and over 20,000 tickets sold in 2024 alone.

The band, who have won over fans with their musical storytelling and powerful live sound have just released a new EP, “The Commons”, and fans can expect to hear new material alongside their most popular tracks at the Cork show next summer.

Announcing the, tour the band shared, “2024 was an incredible year for us–every show felt like a celebration of music and connection,” adding, “We can’t wait to bring that same energy to more cities and countries in 2025.” 

Other acts already lined up for next year’s Live at the Marquee series include Christy Moore, The Coronas, Olly Murs, Tommy Tiernan, Dec Pierce, The Waterboys and Joe Bonamassa playing Rory Gallagher.
