Cork has welcomed its newest citizen into the world for 2025 at Cork University Maternity Hospital.
The New Year was only a few minutes old when the first baby of 2025 arrived in CUMH.
At 12:20am on January 1 2025, a baby boy named Rowan was born. He weighed in at 3.51kg.
