- Sugar, Cork Arts Theatre, 8pm: A comedy with a big heart set in Mallow’s sugar factory prior to its closure. Tickets €20.
- Lisa Hannigan, The Everyman, 8pm: Irish folk artist Lisa is a multi-instrumentalist whose solo musical career has spanned 18 years. After her sold-out collaboration with the Irish Arts Center in New York earlier this year, she is bringing her very special production home. Tickets €35.
- Cork Fleischmann Symphony Orchestra with Michael McHale, Cork City Hall, 7.30pm: The orchestra return for what has become a highlight in the hall’s annual programme of events. Tickets €20.
- Rachael Lavelle & Elaine Howley - Quiet Lights, Live at St Luke’s, 4:30pm: Lavelle is a Dublin-born singer and composer who captivates audiences with her voice and humorous observations on life. She is ed by songwriter, vocalist and producer Howley for a magical evening. Tickets €23.
- So! Peter Gabriel Tribute, Sea Church Ballycotton, 8.30pm: So! are the world’s Peter Gabriel tribute band, fronted by PictureHouse singer Dave Browne. Tickets €23.
- Rebel Roots, Corrigan’s Bar, 10pm: Cork singer-songwriter and slide guitar maestro Billy Kennedy plays at the launch party, with subsequent Saturdays between now and Christmas featuring the Maya Libby Duo, the Pat Horgan trio, Clonakilty legend Eugene Brosnan ed by guitar magician Jeff Ward, and Russty Carr.
- Grand Theft Audio- San Andreas, The Pav, 7pm: Video game lovers can celebrate 20 years of San Andreas in Cork. Experience all your favourite nostalgic parts of the game, including music, catchphrases and characters. Tickets €24.
- Dinosaur Show Live!, Cork International Hotel, 11am: Bring the little ones back in time with this fun, family-friendly show. The one-hour interactive showcases the latest animatronic technology and award-winning puppetry. Tickets €17.93.
- Watch United in the company of legends, Clancy’s, 2pm: A chance to see a Manchester United match with club legends Sammy McIlroy and Lee Martin. The icons provide expert analysis, share stories, and sign autographs. Tickets €45.

Take That At The BBC, BBC2, 8.25pm: A selection of the boyband’s appearances over the years, followed at 9.25pm by Boybands Forever, about another ’90s boyband, Blue.
Asia, BBC1, 6.20pm: The fourth episode in the epic series visits Asia’s jungles and forests.
Man On The Inside, Netflix: Ted Danson stars in new comedy, as Charles, a retired professor struggling for purpose in life after losing his wife and being estranged from his daughter.
Cruel Intentions, Prime Video: At Manchester College, a university near Washington DC, social standing means everything, and ruthless step-siblings Caroline Merteuil (Sarah Catherine Hook) and Lucien Belmont (Zac Burgess) will do whatever it takes to ensure their position on top of the pile.
