A veteran known as Soldier F is to stand trial accused of two murders and five attempted murders in Derry on January 30th, 1972.

The judge at Belfast Crown Court said he wanted to review progress on disclosure before setting a date.

Fifteen former soldiers investigated for perjury over Bloody Sunday will not face any charges.

The decisions relate to 15 former soldiers and one former alleged member of the Official IRA.

Bloody Sunday, when 13 civil rights protesters were killed, took place in Derry in 1972.

The committal hearing will determine whether there is sufficient evidence to proceed to a Crown Court trial.

Former paratrooper Soldier F is facing two counts of murder and five counts of attempted murder.

Prosecutors last year announced they were discontinuing the proceedings amid concerns the case could collapse at trial.
