A former IDF soldier turned activist has said it has been clear for a while that the destruction of Gaza is a goal in and of itself.

Susanne Björk was arrested along with Irish national Deirdre ‘D’ Murphy (71) by Israeli military on Saturday

Diplomatic sources said two Irish diplomats were part of the delegation to the West Bank city of Jenin.

It comes amid escalating tensions in the region.
