Hospital overcrowding: Over 350 people on trolleys in hospitals on Friday morning

According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO), 354 people were waiting for a bed in hospitals across the country on Friday morning.
236 patients are waiting in the emergency departments, while 118 are in wards elsewhere in the hospitals.
The hospital with the highest number of patients without a bed is University Hospital Limerick, with 75 people waiting for a bed.
23 people are in the emergency department, with 52 patients elsewhere in the hospital.
At University Hospital Galway, there is 28 people waiting for a bed, with 25 people in the emergency department.
26 people are waiting for a bed in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, with all the patients in the emergency department.
There is also 26 people waiting for a bed at Sligo University Hospital, with 14 people in the emergency department.
