A range of stories feature on the front pages of Irish newspapers on Friday.

The Irish Times leads with short-term letting platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com facing millions of euros in fines under regulations aimed at freeing up properties for long-term housing requirements.

The inquest heard Eddie Hutch died from an overdose of methadone at his home in Dublin’s north inner city last year at a time his family believed he had stopped taking drugs.
