Trolley watch: 468 people on trollies across Irish hospitals

There are a total of 468 itted patients waiting for beds in hospitals nationwide on Monday morning.

There are 293 in emergency departments while 175 are in wards, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO).

University Hospital Limerick s for the largest number of people on beds, with 116, followed by University Hospital Galway and Sligo University Hospital.
