The Tallaght sprinter powered into the lead early on in Silesia, before struggling before the finish.

Sarah Healy was fifth in the 1500 metres while Nick Griggs finished 12th in the men's 3 thousand metres.

Norway's Jakob Ingebrigtsen smashed the world record to win the race

F1

World champion Max Verstappen is looking for his first Grand Prix win since June this afternoon.

The Red Bull driver goes in his home race from 2nd place on the grid at the Dutch Grand Prix.
