Kilkenny are Leinster Senior Hurling champions for the sixth year in a row.

Mossy Keoghan scored two goals and TJ Reid added another to help the Cats secure a 3-22 to 1-20 win against Galway at Croke Park.

Brian Concannon grabbed Galway's goal in the 64th minute.

Kilkenny go straight through to next month's All-Ireland semi-finals, while Galway will play either Laois or Tipperary in the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, Kildare have secured promotion to the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship.

Brian Dowling's team have beaten Laois by 2-26 to 1-19 in the Joe McDonagh Cup final.

Jack Sheridan and Jack Travers scored the goals for the Lilywhites, who have moved from Christy Ring to senior hurling in two seasons.

Kildare will host Dublin the All-Ireland preliminary quarter-finals next weekend while Laois will welcome Tipperary to Portlaoise.
