NETWORK Ireland West Cork (NIWC) will host its Businesswoman of the Year awards at a special lunch event taking place in Inchydoney Hotel on Friday, May 24.

The awards are designed to recognise the achievements of women across the professional and entrepreneurial spectrum.

Speaking about the awards and lunch event at Inchydoney Hotel, Sandra Maybury, President of Network Ireland West Cork said: “The Network Ireland West Cork Businesswoman of Year awards are one of the highlights of my year as president.

Women in business from all over West Cork, both self-employed and employees, have shared their stories by entering, and we are delighted with the entry levels.

“Branch winners will be announced at an awards lunch on Friday, May 24 at Inchydoney Hotel. Branch winners will represent West Cork at the National Network Ireland Businesswoman of the Year Awards, which will be held in Kilkenny in September, 2024.

“Our judges have been busy reviewing all entries over the last weeks, and I would like to wish good luck to everyone involved. We look forward to celebrating with everyone later this month.”

The judges for the Network Ireland West Cork awards include Aisling Riordan, Corporate Communications Manager at Global Shares - a J.P. Morgan company, Declan Daly, Team Lead in AIB for SME Business in West Cork, Niall Healy of HealyCornelius Design Consultancy, Lisa Finn, Business Advisor with the Local Enterprise Office Cork North & West.
