IN what has become an annual tradition, the Lord Mayor of Cork has launched Cork City Council’s ‘Corkmas Roulette Wheel’ campaign at Cork Airport.

The Lord Mayor, Councillor Kieran McCarthy, launched the campaign, which is organised by the council in conjunction with Cork Airport and Cork’s Red FM, on Friday morning.

The campaign sees the ‘12 days of Giveaways’ roulette wheel return to the airport as part of the wider ‘Corkmas’ campaign.

‘Corkmas’ is aimed at encouraging people to have a sustainable Christmas by ing retail and hospitality and by enjoying the city’s many cultural activities, including the pantomimes at the Everyman and Cork Opera House.

In conjunction with the airport campaign, radio adverts will begin on Sunday, December 10 to promote the campaign and the wider offerings across Cork city.

Mr McCarthy thanked Cork Airport and Red FM for their of the campaign for the third consecutive year.
