The Ronan Collins showband show has been a smash hit for the past 13 years, and returns once again to Cork Opera House this Saturday.

Reeling In The Showband Years, Cork Opera House, 8pm: The Ronan Collins showband show has been a smash hit for the past 13 years, and returns once again to Cork Opera House. Tickets €31.

Dezperado: A Tribute to the Eagles, The Everyman, 8pm: After several successful sell-out shows, Dezperado are bringing the legendary live sound of The Eagles back to The Everyman. This is a charity event with proceeds going to Marymount Hospice. Tickets €28.50.

Zeitgeist Jukebox by Little John Nee, Cork Arts Theatre, 8pm: Immersive theatre experience framed by Little John Nee’s masterful storytelling; a soulful antidote to the disconnection of our times, and a testament to the healing power of music. Tickets €18.

Greenshine in Concert with special guest John Hayes, Briery Gap, 8pm: Greenshine is a family trio comprising Noel Shine, Mary Greene and their daughter Ellie. Their material straddles the boundaries of contemporary, folk and roots and includes many self-penned songs.

Route 94, Cyprus Avenue, 10pm: Route 94’s sound is distinct, and evident in his diverse range of productions, from deep, emotive cuts to more dance floor-orientated material. Tickets €22.

DJ Cillian Moore, Intermission Bar, 11pm: DJ CIllian plays an electrifying set in The Pav’s bar from 11pm onwards. ission is free.

Ukrainian Music workshop with Alisa Vasilisa, The White Horse, Ballincollig, 11am: The Ballincollig Winter Music Festival 2025 is proud to present this event, with celebrated multi-instrumentalist Alisa Vasilisa. Tickets €10.

Ballers & Baddiest Outside Afro Expensive, Kino Events House, 10pm: Show off your best style and dance moves at this party. If you are a fan of afrobeats, as well as fashion, music, and culture, this is the event for you. Tickets €10.

Fusion Bellydance Workshop, Collective Cork, 2pm: Fusion Bellydance is a modern style of bellydance enriched by various techniques to create an otherworldly signature style between fluidity and robotics. Price €15.

Room To Improve, RTÉ1, 9.30pm: In a special episode, Dermot Bannon teams up with Julian Benson, former judge on Dancing With The Stars, to convert an old Victorian house in Dublin into four self-contained pods, for families of people with Cystic Fibrosis.

STREAMING

Prime Target, Apple TV+: New eight-part series starring Leo Woodall as Edward Brooks, a maths genius on the verge of a major computational breakthrough. Stephen Rea and David Morrissey co-star.

The Night Agent, Netflix: Gabriel Basso reprises his role as lowly FBI agent Peter Sutherland in the second run of the action-thriller based on Matthew Quirk’s novel of the same name.
